Introducing Pearl, a dental health scanner tailored for families in rural areas with limited access to dental care. Pearl is designed to seamlessly integrate into daily routines by scanning teeth while users brush in front of a mirror, enabling early detection of oral diseases.
The research for this focused on identifying the optimal technology for Pearl. Investigated of two key AI subsets was made: Machine Learning (ML) and Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPT). Through a thorough analysis of their advantages and disadvantages, the most suitable technology was determined to meet the project’s objectives and ensure the highest accuracy and efficiency in oral health monitoring.
With Pearl, families can proactively manage their dental health, bridging the gap in access to professional care and promoting healthier smiles for everyone.
