Jie is dedicated to communicating social improvement and a brand's personality through visual language practice. She specializes in graphics, typography, illustration, and combining diverse materials. Becoming an inclusive identity designer is a crucial ambition for Jie during her academic progression.
This project aims to increase empathy towards stray animals within the larger Chinese cities. Currently people in these regions choose to buy their pets and this has created the current situation with large numbers of strays remaining unadopted. Creating the branding system, with brochures and digital collateral as design vehicles, facilitated via experimentation with colour, typography and illustration. These elements help communicate the core message of the scheme to potential users both online and offline.
Brochures in the offline environment can be placed in public facilities and shops throughout the community. Cards or whole brochures can be taken away to read.
