With the intensifying market competition, graduates in East Asia face severe employment challenges, and the resulting employment anxiety is gradually eroding their physical and mental health. I have designed a digital game to help graduates reduce stress and boost confidence through audio-visual therapy, visual interaction and emotional support.
Using soft lighting and rounded visual effects, I aimed to ensure that the overall atmosphere of the game was full of softness and a sense of healing. Reasonable scene lighting and colours not only reduce visual fatigue, but also provide players with a comfortable immersive experience. The soft treatment gives the scene a more warm feeling, while the rounded visual elements convey a sense of security and inclusion, allowing players to relax, feel healing and calm during the game. Through these meticulous designs, I hope to create a warm and healing virtual world for players.
Virtual pets mainly serve as emotional support and emotional regulation guides in games. Players interactively hatch pets, which in turn provide companionship and communication through interaction with the player, helping to alleviate loneliness and anxiety. At the same time, when the player is depressed, the pet will guide them to enter a special emotional regulation level, helping the player to regulate themselves in a scientific way and improve their mental health.
