I am a Service and UX designer dedicated to crafting creatively designed experiences with an entrepreneurial spirit. Passionate about digital services, solving problems collaboratively, and integrating psychology into design.
Unblock is a digital service designed to help young professionals in remote office environments tackle workplace procrastination by addressing its root causes – inner resistance, self-doubt, and a lack of understanding of their own behaviour. By combining AI-driven tools, cognitive psychology techniques, and a supportive community, Unblock offers personalised strategies and a buddy system to empower users in overcoming mental barriers, fostering productivity, and building healthier work habits.
Procrastination in the workplace can significantly impact both individual careers and business productivity, costing companies thousands annually in lost efficiency. While stress and self-doubt drive this cycle, effective and comprehensive solutions remain scarce.
The solution development process for Unblock was iterative, involving continuous refinement through multiple stages of ideation and testing. Starting with key insights from research, the design evolved over five key iterations, guided by user feedback to ensure alignment with their needs.
I conducted thorough user research, including card sorting, interviews, and diary studies, to understand workplace procrastination. Using these insights, I engaged in co-design sessions and iterative prototyping to create a service that truly helps users overcome procrastination.
Unblock connects users, business clients, IT services, and mental health professionals within a holistic ecosystem. It offers a freemium model, with a basic free version and a premium subscription that includes unlimited sessions, app blockers, and API integrations with tools like Teams and Slack.
