I am a theatre student with a background in broadcasting and television, passionate about Chinese culture and integrating diverse art forms such as dance, music, animation, film, and acting into my creative work.
I am a theatre student with a background in broadcasting and television, passionate about Chinese culture and integrating diverse art forms such as dance, music, animation, film, and acting into my creative work.
The main theme of my project was cultural differences and cross-cultural communication, taking East and West cultures as an example. I combined traditional Chinese shadow puppetry with digital projection technology to produce a live performance in which I incorporated various art forms such as animation, shadow, dance and storytelling.
In the performance, I added a lot of Chinese elements, hoping to add some of my own national characteristics to the work.
The performance ended with a ceremonial dance that removed each of the masks I was wearing, representing the removal of prejudice and misunderstanding.
