In the past ten years, Earthquake happens more and more frequently, and the emergency rescue is a really important part during earthquake event. The fact that you will see regular people willingly join the rescue after an earthquake event, which is highly impressive. But the thing with these untrained people is they usually know less about the right way of rescuing people, they don’t know if a person get spinal injury which you can’t really move them randomly, so when they use transportation device like a stretcher, or not even use any tool to carry people, may cause serious second injury for the wounded. And this is the problem need to be solved in this proposal.
So the idea is to design a device able to let untrained people to rescue and transport wounded out of the dangerous zone safely and quickly after an earthquake event. Specifically in university campus destroyed by earthquake.(SICHUAN CHINA). And the target user will be all adults get involved in an earthquake event.
